Alpha Airpark

Alpha Airpark is a private airport development on a leased five acre parcel at Merrill Field in Anchorage, AK.   As originally envisioned, the airpark would include an initial three story, 11, 180 square foot hangar building which would house a large reception area, offices, a meeting room and an observation deck.   The hangar is large enough to accommodate two aircraft, and include a helicopter landing pad on the roof.   The remainder of the site includes four separate leased hangar buildings, enclosing approximately 47,000 square feet.  The site development included three additional helicopter tie down pads and bus parking to accommodate tour groups arriving for sightseeing flights.  This development was designed in 2018, and remains unbuilt.
